About RealA
Running is personal, but it should not be isolating.
The name RealA is a combination of the words "relay" and "real." RealA is meant to help you discover a team of runners in your neighborhood you can rely on. Our slogan, "Stop Looking for Ys, Just Run," captures RealA's purpose to find you a dedicated community of runners that will motivate you to run without excuses.
Our Mission
RealA was built to reduce isolation in running and make it easier to find dependable teammates nearby to train with.
Meet the founder
Eran Maor
Founder & CEO
My dad got me into running. I ran through elementary school, took a few years off, then joined my high school cross country team as a freshman. During my time with the team, I've felt the warm community and support that comes with running. Right now I'm training for my first marathon in the next few months.
During offseasons (and now that I train outside of the team), I found training less enjoyable, even though I knew there was a strong running community right in my neighborhood. I just had no easy way to find them.
RealA was built to change that: to connect neighboring runners at the same level so they can lace up together and make every run, whether training or casual, more exciting.
